DESCRIPTION:Gold Weekend\nFebruary 27-28\n  \nDistrict Resource Center / Cross Oak Camp\n  \n\nGold Weekend is a comprehensive event designed to enrich and equip the next generation of pastors in our tribe…building a solid foundation in Nazarene doctrine\, theology\, and church polity\, as well as building practical ministry and leadership skills. Developing Pastors will learn alongside some of the most effective pastors in our district as they are immersed in equipping and teaching sessions\, worship\, mentoring\, and peer sharing. \nThe weekend will be held over 2 days and hosted at The District Center/Cross Oak Camp\, in St Mary’s on Friday\, February 26\, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (Lunch and Dinner provided) and Saturday\, February 27\, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (Breakfast and lunch provided). \nInterviews for first-time district licenses or renewing a district license will be part of Gold Weekend and will be scheduled on Saturday morning. Ordination interviews will take place Friday evening starting at 7:00 pm. \nYour next steps: \n1. Register for Gold Weekend by February 1: Gold Weekend Registration. \nThe cost of food\, lodging\, and resources for Gold Weekend: \n\n\n\n$120 for one person in an inn-style room or cabin.(Because we have a limited number of rooms\, priority is given to those who are able to share a room).\n$100 per person if you share a room and/or cabin.(You can choose your roommate.)\n$80 for those who commute or stay in a dorm room\n\n\n\n2. Please submit any classes you have taken by February 2 to the Board of Ministry Secretary\, Chuck Meinecke at chuck.meinecke@nwoteam.church \n3.
