SUMMARY:Big Serve
DESCRIPTION:Big Serve\nApril 5-6\, 2025\n  \nEvery NWO Church\n  \n\nBig Serve is a weekend for every church in Northwestern Ohio to join together and serve their communities. Projects can vary from community to community and may include assisting local non-profit organizations such as shelters\, food pantries\, and senior adult services.  Churches can also volunteer with local schools and parks to assist with projects such as weeding\, painting\, and maintenance.  Churches may also take this opportunity to bless and show appreciation to first responders\, teachers and veterans. \nChoose your projects (it doesn’t have to be complicated – pick-up trash along a walking path or give away quarters at a laundromat! Bless your community! \nOur goal is that every church joins in the Big Serve in some way. \nBlessing Our Community Resources

SUMMARY:Fall Retreat 2024
DESCRIPTION:Fall Retreat 2024\nNovember 1-3\, 2024\n  \nCross Oak Camp\n  \n\nGreetings on behalf of the Fall Retreat 2024 Staff. We are excited to present to you the details for Fall Retreat 2024! This event has grown into something really special\, and we are looking forward to that again this year. Our theme for this year is Pour it Out\, based on Psalm 62:8. Sometimes in life we get so caught up in the ins and outs of our daily lives that it’s hard to focus on emptying ourselves in worship of God. Every year\, Fall Retreat provides that opportunity. Students will be encouraged to take a step back\, take a deep breath\, and pour out their hearts to God\, who is our refuge. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n When Is Fall Retreat?\n November 1-3\, 2024 \nCheck in is 6:00-7:00 Friday Evening **PLEASE REMEMBER: DINNER WILL NOT BE SERVED AT RETREAT FRIDAY NIGHT. EACH GROUP WILL EAT ON THEIR OWN BEFORE ARRIVAL** \nDismissal is at 11:00 AM Sunday \n \n \n \n \n \n What Ages Can Attend?\n Any student who is currently in 6th grade through current seniors in high school. (Whether or not 6th graders are invited is up to each church.) \n \n \n \n \n \n Where Does Fall Retreat Take Place?\n Cross Oak Camp and Conference Center \n272 Jack Oak Road \nSt. Marys\, OH 45885 \n \n \n \n \n \n What Are We Going To Do At Fall Retreat?\n First and foremost\, we are going to work toward a deeper relationship with Christ. We are devoting this weekend to creating space to pour out our lives to God. But we’ll do lots more including hearing challenging messages\, fun and games\, concerts and more. Oh\, and we’ll keep the Cross Oak crew busy cranking out milkshakes. \n \n \n \n \n \n Registration Deadlines\n Regular Registration \nOctober 6\, 2024 \nStudents $125 \nAdults $95 \nLate Registration \nOctober 13\, 2024 \nStudents $150 \nAdults $120 \n \n \n \n \n \n More Information:\n All information\, registration links and graphics package for promotion can be found at www.nwonyievents.org \n \n \n \n \n \n What's Included?\n \nEntrance to all Sessions and activities\nBreakfast Saturday through Breakfast Sunday\nLate night snacks\nRetreat T-Shirt\n\n \n \n \n \n \n How to Register\n HOW TO REGISTER \nAll registrations are done online through our Camp Toolkit registration system. This can be found at camps.nwoteam.church/go. Each church leader will get a login to be able to manage that church’s registration. If you did not create this account for summer camp\, please reach out to josh@thewellnaz.org. \nPayments for retreat will be done via invoices to each church. Churches will be responsible for collecting payments from individuals\, then submitting one payment to the district. \n \n \n \n \n \n Refund Policy\n Because certain aspects of retreat must be paid in advance\, we are unable to issue full refunds. Churches will be responsible for payment of all registrations. Cancellations up to 2 weeks prior will be responsible for a $40 payment. SUMMARY:Big Day
DESCRIPTION:BIG DAY\nTuesday\, October 1\n  \nBi-Vocational Big Day\nSaturday\, October 5\n  \nDistrict Resource Center / Cross Oak Camp\n  \nRegister Now\n  \nBig Day for pastors\, staff\, and church leaders on NWO is Tuesday\, October 1\, 10:00am-3:00pm in Fairbanks Gym\, at Cross Oak Camp. Bi-Vocational Big Day is Saturday\, October 5\, 10:00am-1:00pm in the Great Room of the Big Dorm. Includes lunch and a coffee bar.\n \nOur focus for this Big Day will be on becoming missional churches who are oriented to the world\, existing for the sake of others…living out our primary purpose as disciple-makers…living as high contrast people who demonstrate the love\, grace and the abundant life God wants for all of us to those who don’t know Jesus. You’ll hear from some actual NWO pastors and leaders who are already leading their churches through radical shifts to become missional churches\, and the cause for celebration we are seeing.\n \nBig Day is an equipping and connecting time for all NWO pastors\, staff\, and key leaders. Bring your whole team so all of you can process these days together in a way that catalyzes a new day of ministry where you serve. We also strongly encourage you to bring all your locally licensed pastors and anyone else you are raising up – anyone sensing a call to ministry. Everything we do will include equipping and developing new leaders. These are all-hands-on-deck events.\n \nYou also learn how to partner with the new Leadership Camps we are launching for young NWO leaders; discover how to access the NWO Counseling Network available to all pastors and staff\, explore the 4 things needed to launch a new ministry\, as well as receive some other very practical tools and resources for your toolbox.\n  \nPlease REGISTER your team by Tuesday\, September 17
