MDAC is a required step in the journey toward ordination. \nBoth the candidate and spouse (if married) must participate in the entire weekend event. \nThere is a significant amount of preparation for the event. \nAn application for both the candidate and the spouse must be filled out ahead of the event\, plus three separate assessments for both the candidate and the spouse. With this large of a group\, it is really hard to make adjustments upon realizing that your church is missing registrations after the registration deadlines. Logging in on your own and knowing who has not completed registrations is extremely important. \nPayments for retreat will be done via invoices to each church. Churches will be responsible for collecting payments from individuals\, then submitting one payment to the district. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Refund Policy\n				Because certain aspects of retreat must be paid in advance\, we are unable to issue full refunds. Churches will be responsible for payment of all registrations. Cancellations up to 2 weeks prior will be responsible for a $50 payment. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior will be responsible for full registration payment. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				How Many Adults Should We Bring?\n				We are requiring a minimum of 1 adult per 6 students and one adult per gender. So if you have 5 girls and 1 boy\, you’ll need both a male and a female chaperone. “Adult” is defined as over 20 years of age. \n*if you are a small church with a few teens\, but don’t have an adult to send\, please reach out to josh@thewellnaz.org. DESCRIPTION:Gold Weekend\nFebruary 27-28\n  \nDistrict Resource Center / Cross Oak Camp\n  \n\nGold Weekend is a comprehensive event designed to enrich and equip the next generation of pastors in our tribe…building a solid foundation in Nazarene doctrine\, theology\, and church polity\, as well as building practical ministry and leadership skills. Developing Pastors will learn alongside some of the most effective pastors in our district as they are immersed in equipping and teaching sessions\, worship\, mentoring\, and peer sharing. \nThe weekend will be held over 2 days and hosted at The District Center/Cross Oak Camp\, in St Mary’s on Friday\, February 26\, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (Lunch and Dinner provided) and Saturday\, February 27\, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (Breakfast and lunch provided). \nInterviews for first-time district licenses or renewing a district license will be part of Gold Weekend and will be scheduled on Saturday morning. Ordination interviews will take place Friday evening starting at 7:00 pm. \nYour next steps: \n1. Register for Gold Weekend by February 1: Gold Weekend Registration. \nThe cost of food\, lodging\, and resources for Gold Weekend: \n\n\n\n$120 for one person in an inn-style room or cabin.(Because we have a limited number of rooms\, priority is given to those who are able to share a room).\n$100 per person if you share a room and/or cabin.(You can choose your roommate.)\n$80 for those who commute or stay in a dorm room\n\n\n\n2.
