Volunteers with painting experience are especially helpful\, but anyone with a willing heart and a steady hand can contribute meaningfully. \nTeam members will stay together in a nearby Airbnb\, sharing meals\, fellowship\, and daily times of prayer as we support a ministry doing deeply redemptive work. MDAC is a required step in the journey toward ordination. \nBoth the candidate and spouse (if married) must participate in the entire weekend event. \nThere is a significant amount of preparation for the event. \nAn application for both the candidate and the spouse must be filled out ahead of the event\, plus three separate assessments for both the candidate and the spouse. Non-NWO can attend for $25. \n\nAlthough we never stop representing Jesus\, often the way we carry out our calling gets fuzzy as we sometimes allow highly motivated work ethics and strong desire for excellence to become our identity. This tends to be a common cultural trap the enemy uses repeatedly with those called to lead others. Beliefs about ourselves\, from our past\, about work and people-pleasing can begin to trump the reality of who we are in Christ. When we begin to ignore the warnings the Holy Spirit gives\, we find ourselves minimizing the very things we proclaim that others are to prioritize. DESCRIPTION:Church Planting/Multi-Site Campus Pastor Assessment\n  \nThis 2-1/2-day assessment is designed to evaluate future Church Planters & Campus Pastors’ readiness and capacity for launching new starts–either through church planting or through a multi-site approach. (Spouses of those being assessed are required to attend the assessment and participate in all activities\, but are not being assessed themselves.) \nThe cost of the assessment is $250. This will cover part of the cost of accommodations\, food\, snacks\, and materials. Note: most districts will cover all or part of the cost of the assessment. Meals will be provided on-site for Friday (breakfast\, lunch\, and dinner) and Saturday (breakfast and lunch). This trip combines practical\, hands‑on service with opportunities to encourage and strengthen the local body of Christ. Project assignments will be finalized closer to the trip based on the most urgent needs on the ground\, but may include construction\, repairs\, cleanup\, community outreach\, or ministry support alongside local leaders. \nTeam members will also participate in evangelistic opportunities as invited by the host church—sharing testimonies\, helping with services\, or assisting in community engagement events. DESCRIPTION:Gold Weekend\nFebruary 27-28\n  \nDistrict Resource Center / Cross Oak Camp\n  \n\nGold Weekend is a comprehensive event designed to enrich and equip the next generation of pastors in our tribe…building a solid foundation in Nazarene doctrine\, theology\, and church polity\, as well as building practical ministry and leadership skills. Developing Pastors will learn alongside some of the most effective pastors in our district as they are immersed in equipping and teaching sessions\, worship\, mentoring\, and peer sharing. \nThe weekend will be held over 2 days and hosted at The District Center/Cross Oak Camp\, in St Mary’s on Friday\, February 26\, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (Lunch and Dinner provided) and Saturday\, February 27\, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (Breakfast and lunch provided). \nInterviews for first-time district licenses or renewing a district license will be part of Gold Weekend and will be scheduled on Saturday morning. Ordination interviews will take place Friday evening starting at 7:00 pm. \nYour next steps: \n1. Register for Gold Weekend by February 1: Gold Weekend Registration. \nThe cost of food\, lodging\, and resources for Gold Weekend: \n\n\n\n$120 for one person in an inn-style room or cabin.(Because we have a limited number of rooms\, priority is given to those who are able to share a room).\n$100 per person if you share a room and/or cabin.(You can choose your roommate.)\n$80 for those who commute or stay in a dorm room\n\n\n\n2.
