ACTION PAK'D

A Community Together In Outreach Nearby

ACTION Pak’D is a high‑energy, district‑wide day of service where churches come together to pack School Pal Paks and Crisis Care Kits that will bless families around the world. At the same time, we roll up our sleeves for a local community project, serving right here at home. In just one day, our district becomes a unified movement of compassion — across the street and across the globe.

Big Serve

Loving Our Communities Together

Big Serve is a district‑wide day where churches step outside their walls and into their neighborhoods to meet real needs with Christlike compassion. From yard work and painting to food distribution and community clean‑up projects, every church chooses a local initiative that blesses the people right around them. In one powerful day, our district becomes a network of hope — hundreds of believers serving side‑by‑side to show the love of Jesus in practical, visible ways.

Congo Dress Project

Sewing Love into Every Stitch

The Congo Dress Project invites churches across our district to create simple, handmade dresses that are delivered to girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Each dress is a tangible expression of dignity, care, and the love of Christ. Whether you sew, cut fabric, or help assemble kits, every contribution becomes part of a beautiful story of hope shared around the world.

Work & Witness

Serving the World Side-by-Side

Work & Witness teams give our district the opportunity to step into God’s mission around the world through hands‑on service. Churches join together to travel, build, encourage, and partner with local congregations and ministries globally. Whether it’s construction, outreach, or relational ministry, every trip strengthens the church and deepens our shared faith. These teams become a living expression of what it means to make Christlike disciples in the nations — serving shoulder‑to‑shoulder, learning from others, and seeing God at work far beyond our own context.

Work & Witness Opportunities 2026-2027

Missional Foster Parents, Inc

Missional Foster Parents, Inc exists to equip foster parents for the work of ministry. The call to welcome children from hard places is a sacred one, and no family should walk that road alone. MFP coaches parents who have embraced this call and helps cultivate churches as safe, loving communities for foster families and the children in their care—so that together, the Church can reflect the heart of God for vulnerable kids.

Refugee Projects

Our district partners with World Relief to help churches take meaningful steps in welcoming immigrants and refugees. Through the Churches of Welcome journey, congregations learn, serve, and lead in practical ways — from small‑group learning and hands‑on service projects to assembling welcome kits and even forming Good Neighbor Teams that walk alongside newly arrived families. As churches grow in compassion and understanding, some will launch local ministries like ESL programs or legal‑aid initiatives. Together, we’re becoming a district that reflects the heart of Christ by offering dignity, friendship, and tangible support to those seeking a new beginning.
