We believe MVNU is uniquely poised for this next chapter in the life of the Church of the Nazarene. Together with you, our pastors, we want to explore how we can best equip:
- Lead Pastors through flexible, accessible pathways of training.
- Pastoral Staff who long to serve their congregations and communities with deeper biblical and theological grounding.
- College students as they discern their call and prepare for ministry.
Whether through the Course of Study, internships, residency programs, or graduate degrees, MVNU is committed to strategic and innovative ways of equipping ministry leaders across our field. The Way Forward is about partnership—bringing together the university, the local church, and pastors like you. We are especially excited for you to hear from Dr. Doug Matthews, our new Chair for the Division of Christian Ministries, Dr. Colleen Derr, our Executive Vice President & Chief Academic Officer, and Dr. Carson Castleman, our President.
