This 90-minute workshop is part 2 of a 4-part workshop series designed to address the very real challenges YOU told us you are facing. This is FREE for NWO Pastors and staff. Non-NWO can attend for $25.
Conflict, confrontation and difficult conversations are inevitable realities even in the church setting. Overcoming internal fears, anger and avoidance when these arise is often the more challenging part for leaders. This workshop will address the internal dialogue leaders face regarding conflict, confrontation and difficult conversations as well as provide tools to face these situations with greater confidence. As the leader becomes strengthened in these areas, the benefits extend to growth among staff and church members, an improved culture, and greater trust. The leadership tools given will be applicable to any church leadership role and can be implemented immediately!
Attendees will:
- Gain understanding about what is happening in the brain and body when leaders face challenging interactions
- Learn to press through fear and avoidance that hinder healthy conflict/confrontation/difficult conversations
- Be able to de-escalate conflict, truly hear people and identify growth opportunities
- Respond internally and externally to difficult feedback in productive ways
- Plan and approach difficult conversations from a healthy perspective
