Big Day is Tuesday, February 20 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm in Fairbanks Gym, at Cross Oak Camp.
Bi-Vocational Big Day is Saturday, February 24, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Dorm Great Room.
Big Day is for all Pastors and developing Ministry Leaders and every Big Day is designed to
Inspire and Equip each of us to lead our churches and change the world. We strongly encourage
you to bring your locally licensed pastors and those who have expressed some kind of early call
to ministry because everything we do includes equipping and developing new leaders. These
are all-hands-on-deck events.

Gold Weekend 2024

A required event for all local and district licensed ministers.
Friday, March 1-Saturday, March 2.
The District Center/Cross Oak Camp, in St Marys.

Gold Weekend is a comprehensive event is designed to enrich and equip the next generation of pastors in our tribe...building a solid foundation in Nazarene doctrine, theology, and church polity, as well as building practical ministry and leadership skills. They will be learning alongside some of the most effective pastors in our district as they are immersed in equipping and teaching sessions, worship, mentoring, and peer sharing.

EXCITING NEWS: In conjunction with the Southwest Ohio District, The Northwest Ohio Nazarenes have the opportunity to come alongside Rescue Hill. Rescue Hill is a Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Center in the heart of Arlington, Texas with a focus in Anti-Human Trafficking. It is the only CMC of its kind on the USA/Canada region and is making a huge impact across the US in the anti-trafficking fight.

NWO NYI DISTRICT BLAST

Defiance Church of The Nazarene 1656 S. Jefferson Ave., Defiance, OH, United States

The District BLAST Program (Building Leaders and Sharing Talents) is guided by the rules and policies set forth by the Field BLAST event held at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Early June each year) . The Field NYI Council, made up of the Field NYI President and the District Presidents from the 8 districts on the region, sponsors the event. Students that participate in the District BLAST have the opportunity to share their God given talents in a competitive setting. The top scoring participants are selected to represent the Northwestern Ohio district at the regional BLAST. Also, students experience leadership training that is designed to strengthen their relationship with Christ, challenging each one to be His leaders in their church and community.

Big Serve

The churches of Northwestern Ohio are joining together to bless our communities through Big Serve, April 19-21, 2024, with churches from across the United States. Projects include assisting local non-profit organizations such as shelters, food pantries, and senior adult services. Churches can volunteer with local schools and parks to assist with projects such as weeding, painting, and maintenance. Churches will bless and show appreciation to first responders, teachers, and veterans. Start planning your church's Big Serve now!

Jesus expects us to bring Heaven to Earth and allow His fallen creation to experience what He has for them. When we do, broken and sinful people are restored, the spiritual temperature in our communities gets raised, God is glorified, and His Kingdom expands!
